In her new Bible study series Wake Up Sleeping Beauty: “Finding True Love’s Kiss”, Fellhauer awakens and empowers girls to make healthy choices when it comes to dating, sex and relationships. Based on the Song of Solomon, this seven-session interactive DVD series gives girls a whole new standard in what to look for in a man.

“Picking a soul mate will be one of the greatest decisions a young girl will ever make. With the divorce rate at over 50%, is she equipped to make a good choice?” Fellhauer asks. “According to Scripture, there are three things that a man must have in order to qualify him to become a husband. If he doesn’t possess these things he’s “motor oil” not “purified oil.” Run him off.” Fellhauer smiles.

Along with addressing common dating issues that girls face, Fellhauer helps young women set boundaries, make ridiculous requests, live in palaces, conquer “promised lands,” and get rid of enemies that have crossed their borders.

According to Fellhauer, young women have lost confidence, purity and power because they’ve received the kisses of betrayal, “Guys won’t like me if I’m not skinny. He won’t stay with me if I don’t have sex with him. Everybody’s doing it!” “It’s time to teach girls to stand on their own, to be confident in any situation, and teach them about the “kiss of Love.’”

Our culture tells our girls that they are abnormal if they aren’t having sex, experimenting with drugs and drinking alcohol. While taking the Wake Up Sleeping Beauty course girls are surprised to learn that:

• They are in control of their bodies; their flesh doesn’t have to control them.
• They too can give the kiss of betrayal.
• Men are looking for three things when picking a wife.
• Their bodies are a promised land.
• How a young man treats his mom is a good indicator of how he will treat them.
• God Word tells her “how far is too far” when dating.
• Living “happily ever after” is possible in today’s world.

Raising four daughters, Fellhauer knows the pitfalls that teenagers face today. They want to fit in with their peers. “So, what if their peers were pure and had high moral values? What if this became the popular thing not the unattainable thing?” This is the motivation behind Wake Up Sleeping Beauty. June hopes to put pressure on the far left ideas and start swinging the pendulum the other way. “If girls stop tolerating guys that lie, cheat, want premarital sex, are lazy and treat them poorly, then guys will change. They will raise their standards,” Fellhauer promises.

In this series June is honest about her pitfalls. She encourages others by telling them, “Your greatest defeat can become your greatest victory.” Jesus received the kiss of betrayal and ended up on the cross. It looked like His biggest defeat but in actuality, it was the greatest victory in human history.

“Walking in the ways of the world led me to the mortuary, but learning and living the ways of God opened my eyes to live “happily ever after!” Fellhauer exclaims.

Dedicated to her four daughters, June offers a tool for moms and daughters who are ready and willing to live their lives filled with blessings and not curses.
